Hi, I’m Mary

Culture builder, team strategist, and compassionate guide through the seasons of work.

Mary is a people-first powerhouse who believes work should be as meaningful as it is impactful. Born the youngest of a big, vibrant family, she grew up thriving on challenge, connection, and creativity. Her eclectic path—from business school to dietetics, studying abroad in New Zealand, and earning a degree in Contemplative Psychology at a Buddhist-inspired college—has shaped her grounded and human approach to leadership.

After years leading C-level teams in the natural foods world and helping build cultures from the inside out, Mary became known for creating the kind of work environments people don’t want to leave. Most recently, she continues to help shape The Garage Group’s human-first culture through intentional coaching, facilitation, and systems that make work more connected and resilient.

  • To ensure people feel seen, valued, and aligned—so they can show up with purpose and leave a legacy they’re proud of.

  • Mary brings vulnerability, mindfulness, and emotional fluency to every room—helping teams access their humanity while building operational strength.

  • As a kid, Mary became fluent in sign language and served as an on-air interpreter for her local TV station.

Beyond Work

Outside of work, life’s about staying grounded. I’m a mom to my amazing son, Sawyer, and we spend as much time outside as we can—biking on trails, camping, scavenger hunting, and finding water to fish or paddleboard. Our dog Finn goes everywhere with us. I’ve been practicing meditation for over 20 years, love yoga, and I’m big on community, real connection, and tea -- all the tea!
